Contact Ornamentea. Their staff is quite knowledgable, most teach classes, and there's a chance you could pop in and someone could help you out. They'd at the very least know who you should contact in the event they can't help you.

Have you reached out to Jewelsmith in Durham? I've not had them do this kind of thing, but they worked with us and were very accommodating.

Fellow meteorite necklace wearer, here. An ex-boyfriend was the one who gave me the stone(?) and it was already set after he had a meeting with a local jeweler in Chapel Hill, but mine is set in a setting like a princess cut diamond would be, but obviously not that shape. The jeweler didn't have to work with the meteorite, just the metal that makes up the setting to get the right shape. Edited to Update: My setting is silver (a precious metal).

Cary, NC Jewelry Artist here. Can you send me a picture of the meteorite? Would wire wrapping be something you'd consider? www.cydesignstudio.etsy.com
