Recommendations for a good handyman? Especially one who can do some basic carpentry. Thanks.

I did a mini kitchen and family room remodel....had to fit new counters, new pass through from kitchen to family room, cut new crown and baseboard molding....that type of basic carpentry and used the guy my plumber recommended because he did the plumber's renovation too: Joe Dorsey 443 309 7043

Here's a recommended contractor we have used to remodel our kitchen and upgrade a bathroom and fix our roof and do all kinds of things. He is reliable, reasonably priced, and is especially good at solving problems. We recommended him to our next-door neighbor, and she was also very happy with him. Actually watched a couple of their videos, good stuff there. I'm wondering if an internal breaker tripped, as this 'fix it' story reads. http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/frigidaire-electrolux.../ Gonna have to take a look later.

another option: we have a guy name Roger we trust. 410-679-2350. He came out on several holidays for us because he didn't want the kids to be without heat and hot water and found the 1980 s part to fix our furnace, lol! but of course, give him a call to see if he's right for you

We had to replace# ours last year around this time...I would definitely recommend who we used (Chuck Presti). Great job and trustworthy in your home (a big plus for a mom with little kids).

BGE Home may be worth looking into. I use them on a maintenance plan for my furnace and I have been happy with them. Sometimes they will apply the cost to a maintenance plan premium so you get the maintenance plan on your furnace for free. Worth a call.
