Smokey's is reasonable and you can get the creosote log at IV Building Supply and True Value. I think that there are about 7-10 dollars
Maureen C. replied:
do you have a damper in your stovepipe or stove? if yes, is it open? are both stoves doing the same thing? who cleaned your stove last time? maybe they put the cap on wrong. I use Smokey's Stoves, 541-476-2174
Bob P. replied:
Once the pipes are cleaned, there are these "cleaner logs" that you can buy at different places that you burn one little log like once a month or something like that and supposedly it keeps the pipes cleaned out but I havent personnaly ever used one so I cant really reccommend them but I can tell you if you call Gene at Smokey Stoves he can clue you in about them and the cleaning of pipes too. He is a professional chimney sweep as well as being in the stove business.

I live in Selma and am looking for a wood-stove chimney cleaner. Any recommendations?
Maureen C. replied:
Smokey's stove in GP 541-476-2174. I'm way out Caves Hwy and no extra charge. They did a great job, quick, clean and had to replace fire brick in my stove as well as chimney clean, $130.
Hello Does anyone know of a chimney sweeper for hire here in the valley?
Lori L. replied:
I have heard good comments about a place in GP called Chim Chimney. Reasonable and did a good job. Can't remember what my friends paid but they were pleased. (541) 476-0941

Smokeys Stoves in GP does this work, I believe. IF not they could help locate someone who will.
Smoke stopped going up my wood stove chimney. I'm guessing it needs cleaning. Are there any pro chimney sweeps locally? Or do I have to ask Grants Pass?
