That's a good question. If I'm not mistaken there is a 100% tax exemption on state sales and real estate taxes as well as a 30% federal tax credit for 2013. I could be wrong though. Check IRS.gov and NYS. Gov, they should have the info you need. Hope this helps.

John, accountants are NOT tax professionals, they'll all deny it though, you need what is called an "Enrolled Agent" or a certified preparer. 99% of the world makes the mistake of thinking Accountants are Tax Professionals, but now you see why.
