www.vbacfacts.com is where you can go to be empowered about not having a repeat cesarean, unless medically necessary.

Alicia, I would definitely do some research on VBACs so you know your options. It's hard enough to find a vbac supportive doctor although not impossible but VBA2C is much much harder to find. Dr Gonzales in Manassas with Captial Women's Care would be your best vbac OB, even if it's not something you want for this pregnancy. I would recommend talking to him about your chances for the future.

I'm in Woodbridge. ALL Pediatrics for baby. Physicians and Midwives of Alexandria (have a location in the Woodbridge Area and delivery at INOVA Alexandria, Millennium OBGYN (Woodbridge office, deliver at Arlington VA Hospital Center). Both of these hospitals have better NICUs than Potomac. About Women is ok. A private practice OBGYN that I highly recommend in Woodbridge is Dr. Zerline-Chambers. Great bedside manner and professional skills. She does not have a website. But highly recommended. She delivers in Woodbridge's Potomac Hospital.

Also check our ICAN of NoVa. I'm a birth doula and would be happy to talk to you about your options and for vbac if that's something you're interested. I've attended a few vba2 c and we have some very supportive OBs in the area. If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for your first c/s? https://www.facebook.com/groups/ICANofNOVA/ https://www.facebook.com/pages/Heaven-Sent-Birth-Services/1569285950010115

Thanks for sharing. I'm not s medical professional but that sounds like you may be a good candidate for a vbac if that's something you want. A doula may have been able to help as well. Here's a support group for women that have had or hoping to have VBACs. https://www.facebook.com/groups/7968206916/
