St Alban has good coffee, some interesting pastry offerings and is comfortable. Park Cafe has okay coffee but charges $1 more than everyone else, and the pastry options are mediocre (and not always fresh). The Daily has excellent coffee and great food but only about 5 stools, so you can't count on being comfortable. Browns Court is farther away but great coffee and baked goods and comfortable. And then there's Kudu, which is my favorite, but not in the hood.
