Dr. Robert Herrin in Charlotte...his daughter is one of my closest friends and I've known him since I was about 10 or 11. Wonderful man and has a fantastic medical reputation!

Dr Swann, Southeast Oral and Maxillofacial. He was so amazing when he did my wisdom teeth at 16 that I took my husband for his earlier this year. He shares an office with Dr. Herrin, mentioned above!

Definitely Dr. Patty's group, Union Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. I am 41 and my wisdom teeth just decided to poke thru. Dr. Lam, who works with Patty, helped me out just last Monday. Very professional.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe [this](http://www.johnsonoralsurgery.com) was where I went (8+ years ago) to get my impacted wisdom teeth taken out. It's way the hell out of the way (Mooresville) but it was the only place in the area that took whatever pathetic excuse for a dental discount plan I had at the time. The only things I remember are: 1) There was a sweet salt water fish tank in the waiting area. It was super cool. 2) the oral surgeon was also the anesthetist. He said, "just look over there for a sec," I felt a pinch in my arm, and I was out. Next thing I remember I'm on my couch at home and my mom's asking if she should go out and get me some pudding. It was awesome. They gave me an Rx for Percocet and I found it to be sufficient for my needs. Good times.

Carolina Center for Oral and Facial Surgery - Dr. Waheed Mohamed. I've had to have two teeth surgically removed over the last 5 years due to old fillings. One dental implant so far...getting the other done in 30 days or so. The last tooth also required a sinus lengthening...you don't want to know about this procedure. Dr. Mohamed is very good and a great guy.

I highly recommend Dr. Sharma. He pulled my wisdom teeth and did a great job. His staff is super nice.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in college. If they offer you twilight sedation as an option, take it. I had laughing gas & 4 shots of lidocaine & still felt everything.

I got jaw surgery from a guy Dr. Farrell

I would recommend you NOT go to the Engel institute dental center. I had a very bad experience there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I recently had a successful LeFort midface advancement by Dr Raymond Haigney in Huntersville anyways. I was extremely pleased with his staff, and the outcome.
