Pam Vickers is a lovely person.. She let me come over yesterday -- and while she could not help me alter the garment -- she did ultimately save the day.. She cautioned me that a controlled boiling of the sweater would likely shrink it in just the way I really needed.. You should have seen John's face when I put his sweater on the stove to 'cook' for 5 minutes.. Yep -- it worked well enough for this costume! I kept her card and will definitely call her for future work.. Thanks for connecting me to her!
