My neighbor, just finishing her second year of college, has worked at Crab Shanty (Shanty Grille) and its carry-out/Pig Pickers since she was 15. They have been great to her working around her time home from college and even plays, etc. when she was i n high school. Another option might be Kumon, or similar. I believe there is a Kumon center at Dorsey Hall (also Normandy and Marriottsville, but they aren't really walking distance. Mathnasium at Bethany). Another neighbor has two kids that have worked at Kumon. Good luck!
