I use weebly and it's going very well so far. No it's not an amazing site but I've only been up and running 9 months, budget is very tight. Plenty more products being added soon. I find weebly so easy to use and just packed with fantastic features. Www.EvoEquine.co.uk

Maria Waskiel-Smit - I started on ebay and etsy and the latter is better by far. I'd probably test the water there first if you're looking for a cheaper and quicker option to be going on with, but I found you could do so much more with your own website and... very often I found customers were asking for a pointer to my website. I had one before, but it was a showcase only. I now have a fully functioning, all dancing, all sparkling website developed by Anorak Cat Website Designs, Richard and Amy Louisa. I asked Adrien for you as she's not in this group. 'She needs public liability and employers liability at least. Kingsbridge Insurance will advise.'

There are fashion trade shows such as Pure and gift shop trade show Top Drawer, both at Olympia. Spring Fair and Autumn Fair at the NEC and Home & Gift in Harrogate. You could take a small stand at any of these, they often have deals and areas for first time exhibitors. Also shows like Top Drawer has an area within called Craft for British Made goods.
