No brainer...Ray Miller 203-230-4829. He has one truck and a helper when he needs one. He's come out to my house on a snowy Sunday morning and not charged me an "emergency" fee. When a part was going bad on my burner he looked over at an old furnace in my basement that wasn't hooked up, canabalized a piece and saved me $300. A good, honest guy whose been doing furnace work since he was 14. Love this guy!!!

Anyone have an opinion on Carrier vs Goodman HVAC systems? Need to replace the one in our rental property & if I'm going to spend and arm and a leg, I want to make sure...
Chaney P. replied:
DB (who has his own HVAC company) prefers Goodman bc Carrier has had issues. Parts are cheaper for Goodman, too, he says. Says Trane's the best but he only uses Trane or Goodman.:)
Bob L. replied:
I've worked with them all. Goodman GMC Goodman is a builder quality. A lot markup but an okay brand. American Standard made by Trane has all the same components as Trane. Making sure you get a 410 system. I would recommend either Trane or American Standard.
