I was diagnosed by Dr Oro before he moved to Colorado he was previously at the Univ of Columbia MO hospital. It is said that he is supposed to be one of the best Chiari doctors in the US. He wanted to admit me that same day for emergency surgery and said the csf flow was severely blocked, however after he realized I had only Medicaid and Medicare was pending, without paying at least 80% of the surgery cost he would not do it until my Medicare was improved. once I had Medicare in force I went back to him to schedule surgery he said my Chiari wasnt bad enough to warrent surgery. it is all about the money because his office mngr told me he only does surgery for people with certain insurances because Medicare does not pay as much. She said "im not supposed to tell anyone that, but I think its wrong"

Yes he is a specialist, he is at the chiari institute in Milwaulkee, he is on the specialized Chiari Dr. List. LOL, no I am not related to Mark Alford. I found a Dr. Chaudhy at St. Lukes hospital in St. Louis (Chesterfield) who specializes in treating aftercare of Chiari patients. I have an appointment on January 13 th after my surgery with her
