Can anyone suggest a good provider of bulk firewood for delivery? Gethsemane Gardens' provider had a major fire so they only have small bundles. Thanks!

have used Ace Landscape for years for firewood...BEST PRICES and BEST FIREWOOD in the area....I have one of the newer (15 yrs old) (Calif. approved) environmentally-safer wood burning stoves which I used to use to heat half of my house...you use different woods for different reasons...hickory and oak for long-burning fires and others (like birch) for shorter-burn time like 2-3 hours...OUTDOOR FIRES ARE ILLEGAL IN CHICAGO...firewood from other locations may include undesirable woods like the Tree of Life/Catalpa, etc., which will stink up your house and area so badly with the pungent oils that you will have to leave...seriously, even with a sealing glass door like I have on mine...I tried burning that stuff; it's a disaster and it stinks up the whole neighborhood! John at Ace carries none of that stuff. I used to haul a 1/2 face cord in the back of my Toyota Rav-4 every fall....

7-Eleven. Burns REALLY nicely. "Hot Sticks," is it? I don't feel like going to the garage to see.
we need help! a huge chunk of an oak tree fell on our shed and the neighbor's shed. It takes up most of the yard and nearly hit a house. insurance will pay for damage...
