Tammy, the most established and award winning restaurant is the Taj Mahal in the causeway. Mr Miah and his sons run this restaurant and it has been in the town 26 years. It went down hill for a year because Mr Miah had a triple heart bypass but he is back and they have a revamped menu and their food has improved back to its amazing standard. I have been eating there 26 years. I recommend you ask for his pakora and mention me and say I recommended him and he will look after you.....you won't be disappointed. Cafe India is always empty. The Raj is good but he has recently lost his chef. The Tale of spice is second best. I wouldn't eat anywhere else.

Cafe India Tammy....i know the chef really well...i must admit ive never eaten in the restaurant because i prefer a home delivery...the menu is extensive and the food exquisite. My second choice would be the Taj Mahal...x
Can any recommend a nice restaurant in Bath for lunch?
Siobhan W. replied:
Not jamies .... What do you want? ... Italian? French? Mexican? Gastro? .... Gascoyne Place is nice .... Firehouse rotisserie, Cafe Martini, Tilleys Bistro .... If you like a chain ... Carluccio's in Molson place is better than jamies ... But solo pizza is better than both ...then there's the new restaurants in the piazza by the train station ... Graze is really good ..
