I personally wouldn't go to anyone other than a garage these days or my family (RAC etc). Had a car nicked from one guy, while it was queing for a new water pump. Heard squeeks etc on my car and one guy told me nothing wrong but yet it still squeeked until it went in the garage and my mums car was looked at by someone she knew ("reputable") who told her that her tyres were ok and luckily on a back road she had a blow out only 24 hrs later. That extra few quid just isn't worth not going to a garage. We go to Quick Fit or Vauxhall. Xx
