Nathan Miglani@Loan Market. Did everything digitally for me so I only had to visit him once in-person. Such a painless experience compared to dealing with the banks directly (who I didn’t have great success with).

I use 2 different banks ANZ and Kiwibank. Both turned around approvals in a day. Pretty complex as business loans etc thrown into the mix but as long as you can get them the info they need quickly they should be able to sort it out pretty quickly.

I used Mike Pero and found them good. Just be sure to check thoroughly the mortgage that they set you up with. The lady at the ANZ tried to sign me up to an account for $10 per month to save an extra 1/2% on my mortgage. When I got her to work it out, it turned out they wanted to charge me $10 to save $7!

Whoever you get Rach challenge them to get you the best deal i.e don't pay any more fees than you have too. Banks are really competitive and want your business. I have always used Mortgage Solutions but would recommend you look into a Kiwibank 'Offset' mortgage. Don't think they use brokers tho. Anyway good luck with everything.
Can anyone in Christchurch recommend a good conveyancing lawyer and mortgage broker (that won't mind talking to me from Australia)?
