Check out Donovan's Auto & Tire Center in Pleasant Ridge. They're very nice and do great work.

Tire Discounters has to have a redditor as their signs usually reference reddit material. They can certainly perform those two very basic tasks.

For that type of stuff Firestone by Kenwood Mall is great. For body and engine repair I do Yeager's A-1 Automotive in West Chester.

It's in Newport, KY but Raaker tire is great. Mom and Pop place I get oil changes and my tires there. They're nice people and won't gouge you on the price.

Ken's auto care in Alexandria, never had complaints or heard any while working there.
Auchdasspiel replied:
I had great service and a fair price from Fort Mitchell Garage. I worked directly with the owner when I needed brakes/tie rod/battery/some electrical stuff. Oil changes I just go wherever and make sure to check the dipstick in a couple days to make sure they didn't fuck it up.

What part of Cincinnati? Greater? Can you do Fairfield? If so, Menke Motors (not meinke) does good work. A buddy of mine worked there before he moved out of state and said the way the owner conducts business is fair.

I've been going to Anderson Automotive on Beechmont since I was a teenager. I live nearly 30 minutes away now, but I still drive/tow out there whenever I need service.

Tire Discounters. Sounds weird but the last 3 times I have taken my car there to get my tires plugged, they never charged me a dime for it! Not saying it will happen to you, but all 3 times at the one in Colerain by 275, no charge! As for Oil Change, I always go to http://www.whiteoakautocare.com/ Super nice people there!

Whities Car Care for Asian cars (my dad has been running it for ~20 years). He would recommend Donovan's and Tire Discounters as well

I've had good luck with Tires Plus in Fort Thomas. Their prices are fair and they always provide estimates before performing services.

I always use Tire Discounters in Fort Wright. They're very reasonably priced. Also I went for an oil change and for free they topped off all my fluids. Two days later my tire started leaking air. I took it back and they replaced the valve stem for free to fix it.

Midas in Norwood has always taken care of me for simple stuff. [$21.99 coupon](https://www.midas.com/cincinnati/offers.aspx?shopnum=6145&dmanum=204) initially, then they'll send you 3 month reminders with $18.99 coupons. they're not pushy at all. they make recommendations, once, and if you decline, they leave it. they suggested i let them replace my air filter sometime soon. being that that's the easiest thing in the world to replace yourself, i told them i'd replace it myself. i checked it after i left, and sure enough, the filter was looking semi-dirty. right off of 71. 4011 Smith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45209

I've always been a fan of Chuck and Jack's (aka Mt. Healthy Auto Repair). Been going there since I started driving, and never had any complaints
brewlliant replied:
For oil changes I just go with the instant places. One usually has a coupon for a change for $20. For service I go to Courtesy in Oakley. We bought our car from them and they have been good to us. I tried to buy a new tire from them when I thought I ruined one of my tires and they made me bring in my old one to see if it could be salvaged. Turned out it was a cheap fix.
lsmroofing replied:
If you live near the west side or colerain I'd go to Pott Automotives on Blue Rock rd. The old man Roger is more than well off and simply works on cars to stay busy. The other guys there also are seasoned mechanics. So the work is done right and the prices are extremely reasonable!

Schwartes in Fort Mitchell is a really good place. I've taken my car there for years
