Researching native plants for my yard in Cincy. Lots of Ohio/Midwest Native Plant lists, but local nurseries are not staged to carry them. Natorps has a list of natives...
Deborah F. replied:
I didn't think there was, but just today located it on a list from PlantNative.com, Native Plant List from Ohio and Indiana. I wonder if some of these "native" type lists include plants that have acclimated to the county/region, but aren't indigenous. What do you think?
Aileen J. replied:
We have yellow water iris in a pond in Lancaster Ohio. I have only seen May Apples in the woods on our farm.
Scott B. replied:
Check out etsy.com and search for whatever plants you are looking for. I have found mayapple, bee balm, butterfly weed, bluebonnets, wild phlox, and many more that way.
Greg P. replied:

If you are ever in the Cleveland area on a Saturday in summer... Nodding Onion Gardens at Frostville Farmers Market is a fantastic resource for Native plants. Great prices and great plants. There is also the Ohio Prairie Nursery not sure of their location.
