I am in the early stages of putting together a home care and cleaning company and wanted some advice on how to get started regarding insurance and what is legally needed...

I met a couple of really sweet gals who each own cleaning businesses. It would help to connect and get some advice. We belong to this local group and you're welcome to join♡: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1626541934075360/

Just be aware, Google is starting to require companies to certify themselves for home services. While it is only in select markets, it is spreading. Be aware and careful hiring, because if it rolls into SLC, you will have to submit info to the Pinkerton agency, and they are no joke. While definitely further down the line for you, just be aware. Especially if you plan on using AdWords for advertising. https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6226575?hl=en

It's a detective agency that does background checks. Google is pushing their local services platform hard. They already require plumbers and locksmiths to be verified before being on the platform **in certain markets**. Those that are verified get first crack at the keywords to put it simply. https://www.pinkerton.com
