I told him the money would be worth it to work with someone as boorish as myself. Right off, he is accommodating and desirous of helping a customer out. Final report at the end of the job.

Believe it or not, the Big Auto Parts store in town knows the best places. A friend went into Napa and they referred her to a guy in Minneola. They told her they take all of their personal and delivery trucks to him. I suggest giving Napa a call.

There are several excellent, reasonable mechanics in the area. It all depends what kind of work needs doing and what kind of vehicle. Best overall is Clark Tire & Automotive on 50 in Winter Garden for all around. After 30 years there, if they cannot help you they will make suggestions.

Unless Griffis has changed their labor rate they are prohibitively expensive and comparable to a dealers rates. I've been using J&D Automotive in Minneola for a couple years. Very happy with their work. I only use Griffis for work on Diesel engines at this point as J&D doesn't work on Diesels.
