I find Heritage Law in Old Church Rd. Freephone 0800 1977676, Richard visited my mother and myself at her home, it made it very easy and it wasn't much more than £100. So have recommended him to friends, they have used him and have been pleased.
I am looking for a notary public/solicitor that can witness and sign an Affidavit (immigration-related) for me. Any suggestions please?

Closest notary public is in WSM, Clarence Park, John Kirkhope is his name, number 01934644647. I had to get trust documents signed there. Not all solicitors are notary public members, John was the only one I found. Hope this helps.

Try David Playford in P'head. They are pretty good at explaining things. I've only ever used them for legal things. Hope that helps.
Has anyone bought and sold a house recently? If so, can you give me arough idea of how much it is going to cost, and recommend a good conveyancing solicitor?

About £2800-£3000 including stamp duty. Birchall Blackburn solicitors are the company we went with.
