I used Dr Gross a few years ago when we were back home, with my dentist phobia and mouth issues, he did a great job. He was nice, professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend him. BTW, I used to go to Dr Cox many a moon ago too.

Too bad you have to switch from Dr Woody. I went to him for the first time last week for a regular cleaning and they found cement from braces I had 13 yrs ago still on my teeth! Before him I used Dr Lewis and then Goolsby after an insurance change. It's crazy to me that I went that many years and neither of the other dentists noticed!

I agree fully Erin, Thanks. The rest of my family is not under the same insurance so they will not be changing at all. Holli thank you for the information on Dr. Callahan. I'm really excited about all the post from everyone. Thanks but I don't believe my job of finding someone else to go to has been made any easier. I was hoping for an easy hands down answer. I honestly thought Dr. Goolsby only worked with the kids.

Dr. Dungey at children's dental group. Wonderful lady. My 4 yr old has serious anxiety about the dentist and she helped my daughter be calm and happy and now my daughter says the dentist is her friend:)

In regards to Turnage Dental telling folk they do or don't accept it...some offices only have to accept a certain amount of Medicaid patients, once at that max, they can turn Medicaid patients away. My kids had it before I left the state and thats where they went.

O.K., just to be sure I called Dr. Gatewoods' office. They accept Medicaid Paitients, unless they are "New" Patients OVER 11. If they are 11 and established they still accept them.

I know a GREAT children's dentist that accepts Medicaid but not in Clinton. Dr. Lexi Polk is in Richland and she's absolutely wonderful!
