This is such a shame....for locals sake,...it would be nice to have a list of our local campgrounds that ARE open.
In this time when everyone is making huge efforts...

Here is the website with the status of all campgrounds in the Sierra Nat'l Forest. On their FB page, https://www.facebook.com/1469449676658974 U.S. Forest Service - Sierra National Forest, there are one or two comments. One person stated they were just at the Upper Chiquita Campground...it's open, and the page responded,...nope,...it's closed as of July 5 th. https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/sierra/home/?cid=stelprdb5321770&width=full

I love in the central valley near the sequoias etc. What are you looking for? Maybe I could recommend some spots?

Getting away from people this year in CA is as hard as it's ever been given the mobs hitting even the easily accessed dispersed areas. But there's a lot of land in the Sierra south of Sequoia and north of Isabella, esp if you avoid water which attracts CA campers like flies on poop for obvious reasons. Some places might still be smoke impacted though; haven't checked recently. As for campfires, you can't. Banned in USFS land throughout the state. And they're checking. The only plan is to not have one unless you can find a campground spot. And BTW, since it's your b-day (congrats) maybe try hipcamp.com. Tends towards glamping, but might get you a spot more to yourself.
I have some friends coming to visit and wanting to camp next week, is there somewhere they can camp close, seems like the campgrounds are still closed until May. Are...
FL living My mother is looking for a place to park her RV to live but the monthly rent is ridiculous around here.
Can anyone help with suggestions on what areas are...

Just saying FL is hard to pinpoint. In Sarasota you could find $700 a month but if you go somewhere like Arcadia or deeper inland you’ll definitely do a lot cheaper

Where specifically are you looking in Florida? I'm in Dover, just outside of Plant City. I stay at Citrus Hills RV Park. $360 per month plus electric for permanent renters. My first months rent was $420 with electric for April, and I'm not terribly conservative with my appliances. The only catch is your rig can't be older than 10 years.

Try searching on hipcamp.com - it’s like Airbnb but camping. It’s people that own farms, etc & someone might be willing to cut her a deal.

You really need to give either a location and/or a price range.
