Also, I just want to say that PDN group (profesionales de nacimiento) was created by all of us. Raising up the future of birth workers that speak Spanish has become a big piece of my heart. I believe that the more of us that there are in our community the better our newborn families will be served. It is my only hope that the birth community of the future will be one where bridges exist and serving families is the most important work we can do. With that said, please post your ideas, thoughts, comments in PDN even if you're more comfortable talking in English. Also, please try and post in Spanish that's the only way we can embrace the language and you might learn a new word or two like me!

Greetins Lisa Reavley ... glad to meet you online! In a midwife about 2 hours North of Sacramento. Simranpreet Kaur Meairs Dms did my fantastic logo for my midwifery service and has turned out to be a great friend. If there is anything I can help you wi th.... Im available to help in any way possible. Sure wish you were in my range! I can tell you that out of my grand life experiences, Homebirth was the single most empowering thing I've ever done. Homebirth is done in YOUR sweet time... the whole point is that midwives trust that natural birth works and studies show that Homebirth midwives in the US as a whole have lower than 3% C-Section rate compared to 34% in hospitals. Plus Homebirth is the most loving and gentle way to have a baby, baby's experience of the birth is an important aspect to every midwives care. Many blessings on your pregnancy and I'm here if you have questions. Much love
How can I get information on group that meet throughout the year? Is there a midwife support group in southern CA that meets regularly? Thanks!
