We use Dr. Farmand at Animal Medical Center in Phoenixville. Reasonably priced (used to go to Trooper Vet). He's a one man office, so it's never really packed with dogs in the waiting room.

Be very careful with Trooper Vet! They catheterized my senior dog to get a urine sample and nicked his bladder causing a uti. I called them to say there was blood in his urine and they immediately tried to convince me he had bladder cancer. We took him to King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital, they put him on antibiotics and he was fine. Lived for several more years. Trooper Vet lied to us and wanted us to pay for unnecessary, expensive tests. Incredibly unethical. Even I knew it was a simple UTI.

Dr. Travory at Conshohocken vet is amazing and very reasonably priced. It's sort of hard to get an appointment, but it's well worth it.

I had a dog with fear issues and saw Dr Novak at Animal Medical Center in Trappe. Dr Novak would sit on the floor with our dog and moved slowly. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but those 2 things made a big difference. Good luck

We've used Trooper Vet for almost 20 years. They've always been great with my dog who's afraid of everyone & everything. My dog was diagnosed with Lyme disease last year and we didn't pay a cent for tests or treatment. They contacted the company that manufactured the immunization for us and they paid for everything.

I would also suggest Harleysville Veterinary Hospital. I have been going to them for about 30 years and have always found their service to be excellent. Have never found them to "ring up the meter". 24/7 available in case of emergencies.

Trooper Vet. Dr. Seth Cohen. He is great. He goes out of his way to find answers instead of trying to push product. Sadly he is leaving Trooper Vet soon. Charlie's new doctor will be Dr. Dina D'Souza also of Trooper Vet. I worked with her for many years at Limerick Vet. Both doctors are very kind and give me all the time I want. The office staff is great too.

We use Schwenksville Vet and they are amazing. Always able to accommodate us, and all of our dogs love the people there.

We use Trooper Vet also - very happy with them. For grooming, we go to Posh Pet in Slippack - they are a small, locally owned business and treat dogs like their own.

I also had issues with Trooper Vet. I would never recommend them. The manhandled my cocker spaniel and misdiagnosed. Costs me a lot of money and now my dog trembles when going to the vet. I take him to Limerick. They are much kinder and go out of their way to make it a nice experience for the pet.

We go to Animal Medical Center across from Trappe Shopping Ctr for routine care but went to Harleysville Vet to have her spayed (it was significantly less expensive and highly recommended). Been very pleased with everyone at Animal Medical.

The best vet in the area is at Perkiomen Valley Vet Clinic in Trappe. The place is neither pretty nor high tech but Dr. Sarah Callow has a wonderful way with animals and an honesty with their people that's hard to find elsewhere.

We like Valley Forge Animal, Ray Farmand Vet. We did use Harleysville Vet for our other furbabies and they are great too. We go to K-9 for grooming. Not the nicest place but they are very good with our dog's strange behavior. Wouldn't trust anyone else with her.

Harleysville is cheapest but we go to Skippack Animal Hospital - always had a good experience and found prices to be reasonable and excellent care.

King of Prussia Veterinary on Beidler Rd in KofP. We tried Trooper when we first moved to Audubon. They did a "senior" checkup on our dog. They catheterized him to get a urine sample, nicked his bladder and he got a UTI. When we called the office, they immediately tried to convince us that he had bladder cancer and we needed all sorts of expensive tests. We went back to King of Prussia Vet and they gave him antibiotics and he lived to be 14 years old. I would never recommend Trooper. They tried to play us for fools.

Aussie pet mobile is great for grooming,and Limerick Vet is where we have taken our dogs since I was a kid.

I also use Aussie Pet Mobile for grooming. They are expensive, but convenient and very good with our nippy Chihuahua. We got to te Animal Center in Trappe too. Luckily we've had good experiences there too. I definitely prefer Dr. Novak over the other vets there though.

Creature Comforts on the corner of Trooper Rd and Germantown Pk. Have taken all our dogs there and they are very caring. Side note, the vets and assistants are all women, something you don't see everyday!

I am absolutely in love with The Visiting Vet. Michele Campellone is amazing. She is a fully licensed vet that comes to your home. Prices are very good! The personal touches and the fact that your dog will be tended to in a relaxed atmosphere (their own home) makes all the difference! I'd never go back to another vet for regular routine care! I've recommended her to others and gotten positive feedback from them as well. Used her for my older dog as well as a brand new puppy we added earlier this year. Tell her I sent ya!

I did a lot of research and we decided on Animal Medical Center in Trappe. Our dog had epilepsy and required many meds and vet visits. They were reseasonably priced and very compassionate/understanding about our nervous pooch.

Conshohocken Vet is the cheapest around but almost impossible to get appt with. Extremely cheap with shots though. I use Trooper Vet now but they are middle ranged with prices to high on some things. I've been to almost every vet in the area so ask me if you're looking at a specific one. Lol

I have Pet Plan for my dogs. There are several plans to choose from. My dog had a major heart event one day after the 2 week waiting period, after signing on with the plan and they covered it. Very quick response from them. You also get Visa gift cards periodically.

She's the absolute best! When we had to put down our cock-a-poo down after 14 years, Dr. Sarah was so kind and compassionate. Our new dog just loves her.
