My mom has been working with Peter D Jong at Total Function PT and she LOVES him! He works her really hard and it hurts, but she has made miraculous strides since her car accident. She swears it is because he is so good.

Try doing some warm-ups, like arm circles, before getting in the pool. Pay attention to your form. Body rotation, hand entry, catch, etc can all affect your shoulders. Check here for more info http://www.swimsmooth.com/injury.php

Julie Glenn?

Jill Suarez?!?!?
Nancy K. replied:
Julie Glenn will know who to contact Dave! She lives in the Spgs & will steer you in the best direction if your knee is still unhappy in the morning. You don't want to aggravate a knee injury and make it worse.

I forgot - ABA through Family Priority. We were with Autism Services North, but our provider moved and I was told there was a one year wait list for ASN.
Mary P. replied:
I would not suggest using Positive Behavioral Dynamics, LLC based out of Falls Church for ABA therapy. When we first moved here at the time all of the other companies I called before this company had a pretty long wait list or was not taking new patients at the time. Because we needed my autistic son to start ABA Therapy in the area as soon as possible, I went with this company. I felt as though I was being told things had to be done a certain way and that was it. No room for trying to work with us and our input did not really matter. So if there was a change that may have needed to be done to work with us like having a therapist work on some social skills, the doctor in charge was not willing to work with us.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a physical therapist in Dayton that is really good and will push me?

Hate you're still having problems with the ankle. I see a ton of surgery cases in my job. See a lot of people take up to a year to get better. Glad you're trying the PT route. I'm a big fan of ART. If you have a provider near you, might be worth a visit. http://www.activerelease.com/providerSearch.asp
