Would anyone know of an OB Doctor willing to take on a new patient who is 19 years old and 30 weeks pregnant. She has not seen a doctor yet.

Dr. Norris in Franklin is Awesome!! He delivered both of my boys.
Elizabeth M. replied:
Dr Loescher and Dr Williams at OBGYN Associates is who I'd recommend. 6 years ago, I gave birth to a baby boy born still. Dr Albers was on duty during that time up at St Francis. He wasn't in the room for delivery. I saw him for 5-10 minutes after delivery. His bedside manner was awful. His office charged me for full service delivery, so I paid twice the amount for my little one. Then a few months later, I received an invite from his office asking me to bring my new baby in to see Santa. I was devastated by their "mistake". When I found out I was pregnant with my next baby, I made it clear that I would not let either dr from Southern Indiana OBGYN take care of us. Dr Loescher made sure I was fully covered.
Willa R. replied:
Dr. Fish at shneck
Shari B. replied:
I've been to the sandcrest (didn't like Dr. Crowder & was away on vaca when labor started so he didn't come in) been to Fish&Perry in Seymour (didn't like them either) went to Dr.Brown in Batesville (loved him he's great) Been to Dr Perry in Greensburg (have had nothing but problems since he delivered my son on 5-30-14 and he don't give a rats ass I've been in and out of the hospital 3 times since having my son doesn't return phone calls doesn't listen to you or your concerns and his office staff threw away my husbands FMLA paperwork.
Donna D. replied:
I highly recommend Dr. Rayles in Greensburg. My daughter switched to her during the 2 nd half of pregnancy, and she went way beyond call of duty, I have a beautiful 4 month old grandbaby now

Doctor Pam Snook. Family Medical Center. 812-524-3333 At 38 weeks I needed a new doctor. (It was in June 2008, CRH was closed-flood related, not seeing eye to eye w/the hospital in Greenwood (?), Albers & Davis wouldn't deliver anywhere else, so had to find another doc.) Nobody wanted to see me due to insurance. Not because I didn't have insurance, but because I was a "risk" to their insurance. Dr. Pam Snook had no issues seeing me, delivered my daughter, and we were both happy, healthy, and well taken care of at Schneck. FYI, ObGyn Associates would NOT take me at that point, as I was a "risk" to their insurance. Same w/Fish & Perry in Seymour.
Rachel P. replied:
Schneck OBGYN in Seymour deals with quite a but of high risk things it is in another town but it would not hurt to try they are located in the hospital.poor thing it can happen my mom was 5 months before she found out I was in her tummy all test were negative except one last blood test.good luck a well wishes for mom and baby

Dorothy Zelenak Holwager . That's what I was saying. Dr. Hollenkemp can be months out to see him. I don't think you can be seen there without a referral right? I could be wrong but I had to have one. Or my pcp referred me to him. ā” him. See him again in Feb for rest of my allergy tests! He also saved my daughters life so I'm forever grateful!
Janet B. replied:

Does anybody have any suggestions on a Pediatrician? We currently use Northside for one child and Columbus Pediatrics for another but are having problems at both places....
Kara L. replied:
You need to find a family dr. that will refer you to a psychiatrist because they are trained to deal with children with adhd. The psychiatrist will also recommend a behavioral therapist that will work with you and your child on how to get a handle on adhd. Dr. Welling is a very good psychiatrist that works with kids and adhd. Hayley Jane Belding I hope you never have to deal with a child with adhd because it does exist and it is hard for a child to concentrate with adhd when they have so many thoughts running through their head at 100 mph, trust me I know I have a 26 year old who was diagnosed at 7 years old.
Anita H. replied:
Lynn Henery in north Vernon.
Shari B. replied:
I use Dr. Jain in North Vernon hes a great doctor
Michelle B. replied:
I agree with the over medicating but there are some kids that 100% need it. My suggestion would be try someone like Dr Watts who deals with ADHD all the time. Dr Linda Guse is the BEST pediatric doctor out there along with Dr Tami Iorio.. Get a second opinion....must insurance pay for it...it is your right. Research...what about Riley specialist? There are lots of options! !! Good Luck
Sue S. replied:
Milestones Clinical & Health Services for the ADHD. In the United Way Bldg.
Bethany L. replied:
Hayley Jane Belding, there's different degrees of severity. My brother has ADHD but over time and with proper diet choices he's learned to control it. My uncle is the same way. They started my brother out on Riddelin (sp?) but it made him super sick so my mom put him on an all natural diet and eliminated sweets from the house. She also gave him a fish oil supplement and a BeCalm organic tablet to help him focus. Did wonders. But nowadays you can't find stuff like that and all the food you buy has a bunch of shit in it unless you go straight organic and grow your own food. Even organic food off the shelf isn't organic anymore.
Chrystal J. replied:
I very highly recommend Dr Alessi at Nashville Family Medicine (in Nashville obviously). He's GREAT!! Not just going to ignore something. He's amazing at follow up. Even has his office call just to check on you
Stephanie N. replied:
My son has ADHD he sees Dr. Taylor at Northside Peds. He is awesome with my son and spends plenty of time answering questions my husband & I have.
Carrie B. replied:
You need Dr. Bruce Davison@Columbus Pediatrics. He is the best!

Dr Hartwell or Dr fangman is who we see. Love them both. Seen other drs at that practice and didn't like them.

Bethany L. replied:
It's my fiance's son, thus the different doctor locations. And for whatever reason I cannot remember the doctors name at Columbus Pediatrics. But Skyler only goes in once a year, which for someone with adhd isn't enough. Sometimes his medication doesn't work at all, and other times it works to the point where he's a zombie and won't eat. We tried Vyvance, and it was awful. The poor guy didn't have an appetite, he was tired all the time but did we'll in school. So we switched him to the Daytrana patches. But the patches fall off or don't stick at all and he does poorly in school (even with a patch, he's still too hyper for the teachers to control him). It's like we can't win. And the doctor says there's no other alternatives for him. He never makes any medical suggestions, he just asks my fiance what he wants and then fills out the paperwork. Shouldn't the doctor be keeping notes and looking for a better solution? Obviously the patches aren't working. We don't use the patches on weekends, or after he's home from school. We prefer to just let him be and use discipline when it's needed instead of trying to drug him up. But he's falling behind in school now and we're worried. He can't even sit still to do his work, and he's showing signs of severe dyslexia because he can't concentrate.
Zac R. replied:
Dr. Porter at sandcrest
KimDavid S. replied:
I like Dr.Kleman...at Col Peds...Dr. Guse at Northside was always good too
Wendy M. replied:
Until you have child who has ADHD, don't judge others. My son has it. He's above average intelligence and was struggling to focus at school. When your child comes to you and says he is not able to focus and do his work, there's a problem. Especially when this child wants to do the work because he loves it! Its not about punishment, or laziness or bad parenting. We have seen Dr Baxter for over 12 years and love him dearly. He's looked for options and tried to help, But they are pediatricians and don't specialize in ADHD. If your child is willing, see psychiatrist.
