Ditto Safelite!

We use Safelite/Elite Auto Glass (same thing). They always come to our house to replace our windshields, and our insurance covers it with my policy.

Alternative View is awesome. We've used them for both chips and replacement. Ina will take wonderful care of you. She was originally recommended to me by two friends.

Who is a good/reputable car mechanic in Columbus/Dublin? I'm looking to do a general service/oil change on my car.

I'd recommend Boyd's Goodyear off bethel. Even though it's pretty far for me, I still take my car there when I can
IKilledChronos replied:
Noebull off of bethel. I've been taking multiple cars there for years. Down to earth guys and the name says it all

I've always used a Toyota dealership for my Toyotas. My father said that service would intuitively be best, since they should be more specialized in my specific type of vehicle. That does not, however, speak to the truth of that view.

My wife has a Ford and I have yet to find a better place than Keim Ford for service. The prices are within a hair of most independent shops and they use genuine parts instead of knock offs. I had a tie rod replaced by an independent a few years ago and the cheap part they used didn't even last a year.

I have been going to Payne's in Clintonville for over ten years. I've not shopped around because they take great care of us and never really thought it was worth trying to get a better deal - prices seem reasonable, service is always great. I know next to nothing about cars and they always boost my confidence for out-of-state travels. I'm never concerned that they're trying to sell me things I don't need. They're always quick and helpful and take the time to help me understand what's going on.

Keith Cheesemans Sunoco on Indianola in Beechwold. I highly recommend these guys for fast, no nonsense service. Almost always can take walk in and have you out pretty fast. They also make good referrals if they can't do the job. (Referred me to a guy who patched my muffler for 30 bux) Pretty much all of my friends use this guy with no problems at all.

Can anybody recommend a good place to get an oil change done in Columbus? Coupons? lol #imcheap
Ron G. replied:
Try Retail Me Not phone app or similar. Very convenient.

I don't recommend Jiffy Lube. You can find plenty of stories on Google about things being broken and/or not done correctly. They are pretty notorious for this. Your best bet is to make an appointment somewhere. It usually doesn't take much longer than 30 minutes regardless and most places seem to charge around the same price.

I checked out the Right Place Auto but they can't get me in today. I really want to get an oil change done today
Where in in Columbus, OH area for a BMW oil change that I can probably walk into today at a reasonable price?
Victoria H. replied:
I know they're expensive at the dealer but I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else besides Kelly BMW or MAG because BMW uses their own oil. But if you go somewhere else like Midas or something make sure it's full synthetic 5 w-30 oil.
