Heh. Toyotas actually don't...the gas pedal issues were actually later found to be the fault of old people who shouldn't have been operating cars. Anybody know a good shop to call for help with a jump start and possible tow? Car is totally dead as of Wednesday. Have tried jump starting with my friend several times....

Literally any tow company will do that but it sounds like it’s a bad battery or possibly a bad alternator. I’d take the battery out and have it tested

With this cold it's 99.9% certainly the battery, especially if it is 4-5 years old. Just go buy a new battery, slap it in there and you should be good to go. Unless of course you want more hassle and to spend more money, in which case, don't.

You could sign up for AAA and let them try to jump it. If that doesn’t work, towing is included in the membership. If you look around you can find promo codes to sign up for under $70

AAA will do it. It's worth the $74 a year for their membership. You get... a ton of benefits. If you sign up today, they'll probably tow you today.
