psychologytoday.com is a great resource -- you can filter by specialty, insurance accepted, sliding scale, location, etc.

Common Ground provides the access screening to determine the illegibility into Oakland County Community Mental Health. CG is also a Crisis and Referral helpline.

Jewish family services has great therapists and you don't have to be Jewish at all.

Oakland or Wayne county Medicaid and what area do you live There are 9 (?) Detroit/Wayne county community mental health providers that cover all of Wayne County. Easter Seals is the only Oakland County provider but several private. You can also look on the back of you insurance card and call the number for about 20 sessions with a therapist who takes Medicaid.
