Goodstart Oxenford-studio village. Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea is provided. The food is healthy meets nutritional guidelines. Nappies are provided by the centre. The children are well cared for, with the daily routine documented. The centre uses Storypark to upload all your child's learning for you to see. You can check story park whenever you have time eg lunch break. Staff at the centre have worked their a long time. So it has a great community feel. You can book a centre tour & speak to the director Jennifer Hopkins on 5573 6033. You can also have a few play dates to get a feel for the centre & see how the centre operates.

Bonny Babes Oxenford is fantastic. They provide nappies, wipes, sunscreen, morning and afternoon tea. You pay $3 a day for lunches. Each day your child is at the centre you are emailed the day's events from your child's room. The staff are friendly and approachable. We love it!

Amanda B. replied:
Try Bonny Babes Oxenford. We have been at their Hope Island centre for 3 kids spanning over 11 yrs. They are both run by the same owners and the teachers are excellent. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Very organised, those with nappies generally have a timesheet used so they mark when they have been changed, good food is supplied and we get an email each day to show what they have been doing, learning theories it achieves and lots of photos. Good luck

Contact Sue from Essential Nannies. As a nanny myself, she's one of the best recruiters /agencies to work with. She also has a fb page where you can see recommendations and reviews. http://www.essentialnanny.com.au/contact-us/?COLLCC=182340291 Or to search and find on your own try Www.Weneedananny.com References and experience is important as is finding the right fit for your family. After interviewing it's a great idea to narrow down to favourite picks and have them come over for morning tea/little visit to spend time with the kids and see how everyone gets along. While someone might interview well, they might not gel with your family. Good luck :)

Bridgette D. replied:
I tried getting my child into lots of places in the Helensvale too and the wait list especially for Kool kids was huge. Managed to get into Koala Kindy and they seemed but my son who was 16 months at the time wasn't happy and would always get sick. It was a great centre though . Just every child is different and he didn't like daycare. Kool kids I hear are fantastic but it had a wait list of 35 . So what I've done is put him in family daycare which he loves and have put him on a wait list for the c&k prep program for when he's 4. If you are interested in family daycare ring the YMCA or C and k and ask if there are any vacancies or go on family daycare vacancies gold coast page on Facebook
