Hi Alissa, my cat loves the staff at Cooranbong Animal Hospital

Vet Hospital at Morisset usually have friendly desexed ones looking for homes. Run loose inside the waiting room so you can meet them. Need to be confined indoors to protect wildlife, also many free wandering ones get taken by the Powerful Owls - a lot more than people realise !!!

I would highly highly recommend Bateau Bay Vets at Killarney Vale for desexing. It's all keyhole surgery and they come back with a wound around 1-2cm! They have an internal stitch so no cone and no ripping stitches out! They don't come back drugged up for the next week. They're usually 100% by the next morning. Although like with any wound they're to be quiet for the next week or so. I trust Hugh ( the vet ) with anything! Please note that they're very busy there so sometimes they're a little flustered lol You will also have to book ASAP because there is a 2-3 week wait. I'm on my way there now so I will ask for prices as I've forgotten lol They're amazing and have amazing prices. Please bear with me until I ask when I get there
Would anyone happen to know if there's a behavioural vet/animal behaviour specialist in the area? Preferably one with reasonable fees.

Sugarloaf Animal Hospital - would highly recommend them. They are closed today but do have a nurse on an emergency number - 0402 108 730 - they will assess your situation and can arrange an appointment with a vet if urgent.

When i began nursing mid last year. The only position i was able to secure was at Denman vet clinic so i was driving 1.5 hrs each way. Since then i have been able secure a closer position. May be worth calling Muswellbrook pet medical and asking there, if your son is willing to travel.
