Birthday Cake Recommendations I’m in Brickell and looking to get a birthday cake for my 6yo daughter. It will likely be a princess or Disney theme. Are the Publix...

Publix cakes are actually really good. And they will decorate however you like. My mom once gave them ninja turtle toys to put on my brother's cake. Nothing Bundt Cakes is also really good. I only know of a location in Kendall. Not sure if there is one in the Brickell area.

I craved Publix cake and the buttermilk frosting sooo much when I left for years.

No one mentioned Gilbert's bakery. Their quality has improved tremendously. I had a cake from there last week at my friend's birthday party and it was superb.

Publix cakes are where it's at for sure. My brother had a Publix cake for his wedding. It was really a gorgeous and delicious. I've also used Moulin Rose Bakery on Sunset. They once put my face on a cake for me. It was really well done. Rum cake too. I live next to Nothing Bundt Cakes and often pick up one of their cakes for works events and birthdays but I haven't seen any good designs for kids. I'd say it's more of an adult cake!

Go to any bakery in Hialeah. Vickys bakery is a popular one and they just opened a shop in North Miami but not sure if they make cakes there. Honestly all the cakes are about the same from those cuban bakeries are the same.

Misha’s Cupcakes makes awesome cakes, very moist. And I love Edda’s Cakes, best cake designer in Miami imo. However, if you’re looking to be on the most price conscious side, definitely Publix. Can’t go wrong.

I think Fireman Derek’s in Wynwood makes custom cakes, and their stuff is sooooo good. Call to check
