Looking for recommendations for a dance class for my almost 6 year old daughter. She fancies doing 'funky' freestyle type dance, complete beginner - any recommendations...

I'd really recommend Tracy Quaife in Nottingham. I went there as a little girl and loved it. They do all styles of dance, but Jazz and tap especially were really good (you pick what you want to do) They do shows, competitions and exams- so there's lots of opportunities to develop skills! I actually use some of these experiences now to get jobs and help with getting into uni! X

Something a bit different but every Tuesday night at Cotgrave Welfare in the Main Hall MaryKirsten SchoolofDance runs a latin/ballroom dance class for little ones. It's fab and very friendly. Highly recommend it to anyone with young girls and boys who fancy something different. I have 2 in the younger class and 2 in the older class.
