I'd recommend the cotton nappy company too for advice and help. There did used to be a nappy library through Coventry and Warwickshire Attached Parents group but I'm not sure if this group is still running any more. (As an aside there is a very active babywearing/sling meet group in Coventry if you are interested in that). I use Tots bots cloth nappies mostly and Cheeky Wipes too, they are great.
