You don't need an attorney or an accountant. I got our rescue approved in less than 4 weeks. Just take it step by step and it won't seem so daunting, and omit nothing - give more than they ask for if you're not sure. Have him call the Kentucky National Guard Family Assistance Center in Burlington. They serve veterans from all branches of service. There are free lawyers for service members and several that specialize in veterans. 502-607-3552 or go to the armory in Burlington on Conrad.
