If you're looking for an exam, X-rays and cleaning you could always go to IUN Dental Clinic and help the students with their requirements. There are multiple discounts and insurance coverage. I'm a student and I know we need all the help we can get!:)

Started going out there, & then when we moved out here, we were able to stay with them cuz they have offices in Michigan City & Valpo. Very nice, pleasant people. Idk what would be considered expensive, as insurance picks it up.
