Have had Red Oak for 7 years. They pick up recycling weekly and have only missed a pickup once or twice. A quick call, and they were out that day or the next to pick up, other than that, no problems!

From my experience in Gwinnett where my garbage in mandatory and billed to my property taxes we citizens have been asked Not to put glass in the recycling bin anymore as there are no buyer's for glass. Any metal going out has to be called in in advance and they have to take anything we put out folowing guidelines. I am with Sanitation Solutions as well. Just a FYI

if you're willing to haul your own trash to one of the 3 (or is it 4 now) Forsyth County recycling centers, it's 50 cents per 33 gallon bag of household trash, and all other recycling is free (except for used electronics like TV's). I cut my service a few years ago from 25 bucks a month to less than 10 bucks a year.

I've never had any serious issues with Red Oak and we've had them for years. As long as you have the trash out before they come by. If you wait until they pass the first time to put it out (even if it's on the side of the road they pick up on) they will not stop. Other than that they are always on the day they say.
