Grape Garden House in Hongdae is really nice. Only 17,000 for a bed in a 6-bed dormitory style room. The owners are really nice, accommodating, and helpful. Great location, too.

Hongdae Guest House in Seoul is great and right next to Hongdae Stattion. Marubee House in Busan is also a great place to stay. Both are great locations and have friendly staff! It's above the Starbucks, opposite the Aquarium. We also stayed at Chan Guesthouse for the frisbee weekend which was also great - free breakfast too!:) It's in the market opposite the Wolfhound. As for Daegu, I think there's a place behind Daegu Station ... ask Michael Sundell as he stayed there I believe for a while before he went home for a bit:) Good luck! x
