Check out R Ranch near Dahlonega, my friend had her wedding reception there and it's a lodge with a pool in the mountains overlooking a body of water. Not sure the price of the rooms but some of her out of town guests stayed there and had nothing but good things to say and the views are incredible!

Maybe something around Helen? If the weather stays warm you can take the kids tubing. Not sure about particular accommodations but the area might be worth a look. It might be a crapshoot with the weather so tread cautiously before committing.

I'm not aware of any with heated pools. Perhaps you mean hot tub or jacuzzis? Look at Escape to Blue Ridge. They have over 100 cabins and I've stayed in several. Always impressed. See the pictures for what they have. Blue Ridge is an easier drive than Northeast GA (Helen) from Atlanta.

Unicoi is a good option. They are improving and renovating to become a better facility. I have stayed there multiple times, including when I was a child and I greatly enjoy it.

http://www.therivercabins.com/stoney-river/ It's a larger cabin than you need, but you can apparently rent it by the room. Hot tub, pool table, foosball, plus all your river essentials included (canoe, tubes, etc).

Sliding Rock Cabins. Stayed there twice now (Rivers Reach and River Rendezous). Pet friendly. Fishing off a private dock. River tubing; they have a spot up-river you enter the river with your tube, then float down until you reach your cabin. Mine was about a 45 minute tube to the cabin.
