Hi Amanda…sorry to be a bit late to respond to this but we recently had our basement finished, and put hardwood laminate in the bar area-I was worried about dragging of barstools, spilling, and potential water probs down there, so opted to NOT put a pricier floor down in that section-we are very pleased w/it’s appearance, it’s easy to clean, or replace a section if necessary.
