How fortunate for her. Navigators are worthless (the one i spoke with in person told me, "The government shouldn't pay for anybody's healthcare. Rick Perry has a much better plan. Just wait for it.". So are the non-profits the website plan info refers one to: in person response -- "I can't get anybody signed up who wants to anyway since the site doesn't work, but as it takes your next year's tax refund away to pay for it, you don't really want it." The public events are JOKES. I've been to two. The website was down, as usual, got told they were "too busy" anyway. Just like the damn 800 phone # message. I sat on hold with them for 4 hours one day and got NOWHERE. Just let them try to exact a fine from me, if Parkland with its "great care" doesn't kill me off first.

I tried the site today for my mom it worked fine. You can contact navigators or orgs that help you enroll. Andrew Greenberg may be able to direct you to right people.
