My sister-in-law is looking for a wedding venue on the Outer Banks for 40-50 people. Does anyone have a venue recommendation?

We go every year to Corolla for vacation. I love the Whalehead Club area and all the weddings I have seen there. I went to a recent wedding show there also and a lady has homing pigeons you can release after the announcement. She told me by the time she gets home the pigeons are already waiting for her. It is directly across the street from the Public Beach Access if you want to get married on the beach. The sand is beautiful there and nice wide shoreline. The Whalehead Club is across the road on the sound side and makes a spectacular setting for a reception. The lighthouse is located there as well. The Hampton Inn is down the road about five miles. Best of all it's a very different pace of life as opposed to Manteo and Kill Devil Hills. http://www.visitcurrituck.com/listings/Whalehead-in-Historic-Corolla/113/

I would suggest you guys start by looking on the The Outer Banks Wedding Association site and then we are very happy to help you in any way we can. We are familiar with many of the wedding venues out there and even have many that we have in our cad system to better help you plan your event equipment needs. There are even some rental homes that can cater to an an event so feel free to check into some of the realty companies especial if they offer Event home listings. You can email us Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals directly at weddings.oaer@gmail.com.
Does anyone know a wedding venue that is highly handicap accessible? I have a bride on a wheelchair who is looking for a venue that can very well be accessible for her....
