Buses do not go directly to Pangani. You have to go via Tanga. Simba Video Coach is one I would recommend. There are many but I wouldn't recommend them all as some of the driving on some of them are not safe. Once in Tanga you can either get a daladala or a taxi to Pangani. where are you staying in Pangani? If you have a hotel booked I would suggest asking them to organise a taxi from Tanga.

I think it's best to stay near the park - great to get in early in the morning and leave last thing in the evening - there are several places outside on the south gate, and of course Hatari lodge on the north side. as always, budget is usually the deciding factor and there are a range of options.
