Is he on hospice? Strongly recommend Companion Hospice, refer patients to them all the time. Sorry you have to be so far away during this time.
Valerie J. replied:
Thanks everyone for comments & advice. Will take any referrals I can get. Yes Troy Wms, I think that's probably what they need- but preferably someone who could monitor his meds as well. Deanna Hershman - he's not on hospice yet - tough to say how much time he has left. Lorenzo Fernandez - I would be interested in more detailed information on contact info.
Deanna H. replied:
Valerie Minor Johnson, patients can be hospice whether they have 1 day or 6 months. Patients can be on hospice for years, but they reevaluate the need about every 6 months. Hospice nurse will get your dad everything he needs to make sure he's comfortable and your mom will have support. Getting at minimum a hospice eval will at least give your mom and dad options they may not have known about before.
God is good!!! We've been praying that God would cancel the assignment of the enemy and rebuke any issues with DJ's heart. We declared no weapon and when we would go to...
