Who has suggestions for a chiropractor in Oakland or Davis? If you know if they take Aetna Student Health Insurance great... but I can check that bit myself...

Two awesome NSA docs in Oakland or Berkeley: Jane Arzt (510.654.1480) and Koichi Naruishi (510.428.2332). I don't know about insurance. There are others, but I know these two--especially Jane--are awesome.

Herb Akers... In Sac, if that is an option. Energy worker, chiro, matrix repatterning, myofascial release... Etc etc - intensely rad for athletes especially. http://rulesofthematrix.com/.

Jamila Neyon at Balance Point. She will work w most insurance if you are planning to see her on a regular basis. Scott Sniw adjusted me at ecstatic when I fell flat on my sacrum and that was great.

He's across the bridge but Dr. Frank Gilson at http://www.potrerochiros.com/ is phenomenally good. Works on dancers, athletes and regular guys like me. Super person, too. The in-house acupuncturist John is excellent too.I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Joel S. replied:
Sorry just realized that you may not know what NSA means. It's Network chiropractic, the kind that I'm going to chiropractic school to study now. Also, you can go to the Life West Chiropractic College Clinic in Heyward. The interns there will give good care and at a reduced price. Maybe they'll take your insurance.
Can someone refer me to a great chiropractor in Davis?
Andrea G. replied:
Alex has seen Burke Chiropractic in Woodland, 661-6100. He is honest, and will admit when he cannot do anything for you. He also has electrical stimulation, ultrasound (which he did on a hamstring injury radiating down my leg), and other PT devices. I thought he was good, and he helped us both. I was always a skeptic, but again, I don't have disk issues and so he didn't correct any disk stuff....:)
Jeanette M. replied:
Dr naval! 759-9007
Karrie B. replied:
Gerner Chiropractic!
Michelle M. replied:
Dr. Navel or naval in davis is terrific.
Jeannie J. replied:
Dr. Richard Naval. He's great.
Cindy Y. replied:
I also see Dr. Burk in Woodland, and he treats all of us including my 4 year old and 13 week old. He's the only chiropractor locally who does the Cox technique which is adjustments using gentle traction. I prefer the Cox technique to other types of adjustments as it's gentler but still effective. It's helped Paul with the bulging disks in his neck.
