I would recommend State Farm as well, any of the local agents are great ( I know a few) and I would highly recommend Jeff Keicher in Sycamore.

We've used State Farm for > 20 years. Been with our current agent, Brian Scholle (his office is on South Fourth Street in DeKalb), since moving to DeKalb in 1994. Great to work with.

Yea, agree with Joe. Talk to people about their specific experiences when they had to file a claim and how it turned out. That is how we ended up with Met Life. And since filing two claims ( covered and speedy) and updating home stuff and getting discounts for safe driving...we are happy with them.
