Jennie Brown, is ur tummy hard. In ur pic u look further along, but I didn't see a pic of u months ago. They'll probably do an ultrasound. They can tell how far along u are by a couple of weeks.

Dr. Larrain is the best. I wouldn't go to any other!! And yes... He has an office in ormond too

Do u have a dr appt yet? I had Dr. rawji for my son who is 17 and Dr Brooks for my 22 year old daughter. I liked dr. Rawji better, he. Was more personal, but both good drs. They will do a sonogram on u to confirm how far along u r. U look way more than 6 weeks and more like 3-4 months. Good luck

To be honest.. I'd go to Orlando and see Dr. Leonardo Santana. Best OB of central dlorida.

All I can say is I'm past having babies. My son is going to be 29 next month. I'm in the menopause stage so my appts. are just annuals but I was always happy with Dr. Brooks. Everyone has to decide who they are comfortable with and make their own decision. Good Luck Jennie.

We used Dr. Larrain for my girlfriends pregnancy and the delivery of our daughter. He was awesome. Pete can have good and bad experiences with a doctor. It is not always the doctors fault. Good luck finding a doctor. God bless.

Dr. Besong isn't in deland anymore office is in orange city and only delivers in sanford now. He's a good friend of mine and an amazing doctor. Delivered both of my beautiful girls and they turned out perfect. Wouldn't suggest anyone else.

Dr. Brooks retired. I went to him for over 20 yrs.

Do not use Dr Larrain. He by far is the worst OB/GYN ever. My daughter was in pre-term labor for weeks in the hospital, he did not go to the hospital once to check on her. Instead he had his Midwife do it. Long story short she had major problems and was transported to another hospital (thank God). She was hemorrhaging I almost lost my daughter as a result of his carelessness.

I liked Dr Deloris at the heath department she was amazing and made me feel a LITTLE more comfortable lol the only down fall with that is you don't really know who's going to deliver your baby lol

I went to one in orlando. Idk if you'll go that far but they are amazing. I use to have Aetna thru my dad but they changed to United Health care. I went there from 2008 to 2013. But then I moved to deland so I just got one out here.

Let me know who you find. I have Aetna too, screw them, they dropped hundreds of OB offices from I heard. Shame on them. A womans health care and the care during a pregnancy is so important. It is a highly personal issue that women don't trust to just anyone. I left my OB halfway through my pregnancy, and that was only because I felt mediocre towards him. I use Dr. Desai at Volusia OB but they don't take Aetna anymore (or rather Aetna doesn't deal with them anymore) and I am very disappointed because I love that office. I'm looking for someone Daytona way cause I want to have my babies at Halifax Hospital. I heard great things about Halifax OB, but I'm not sure if they take Aetna.

Ya. The situation with Aetna is frustrating. I'm still waiting to hear back from them about what's going on. I just made an appt with Halifax. Janet@523-3656 scheduled me. And they are able to get me in as soon as Monday which was my original appt before if got canceled.

You guys really like Dr V? I can't stand him!!!!! He diagnosed me wrong then called me up and offered narcotics to me thinking I was a Narc and I am not.. He thought he was gonna get sued!! I did not sue him just found another GYN who gave me the accurate diagnosis.. Not a fan of him at all!!

I use somebody over here in Mt. Dora, His name is Dr. Pillow and his Nurse practitioner. His office staff is somewhat Bitchy and that is the only downside to them. He is a Great Doctor who knows his stuff.. I do not know of anyone over there or I would tell you! People love Dr.V because he is very personable with you. I did not like him at all!! Thats just my opinion though.. Not trying to make anyone mad.

^ all of the doctors in Dr. Millions group are wonderful. I have Dr. Delker in the same practice. I originally wanted Amy, but she was full... I have learned I like Delker even better. She is very down to earth, more like a girlfriend than a stuffy doctor. When the doctors are on vacation you get seen by the others in the practice, so no matter who your assigned to, you may get the others at some point. Good luck!

I absolutely hated All About Women. They are extremely inefficient, very dismissive and their office staff is absolutely awful to deal with. They would move and reschedule my OB appointments all the time and then the doctors would chastise me about being "late" for check-ups. I actually got told by one doctor that I needed to "take this seriously" when I was three weeks later for an appointment than I should have been. After they rescheduled my appointment twice. My regular GYN is not an OB, but he is a man. Dr. Gorenberg is amazing. He is in his own practice with just him and a nurse. He has a low-flow office, so if you have questions or concerns he can see you the same day. He also lets you get dressed and come into his office to have discussions. Instead of doing it with your legs in the air! I appreciate that

Dr Jean Cook was at NFWP is now at All About Women and she's the only one i would see there. She's only gyn now not ob. She's been my doc for 15 years and she's amazing and is very much like Dr Amy Million. Awesome bedside manner. She performed 2 of my surgeries. Lovely woman.

Also, I'm really happy with my primary provider, who is Michelle Hoyas at Dr. Malki's Towne Center Family Practice in Orange City. She's a nurse practioner, really thorough, and I just really like her.

On Saxon, in the same plaza there's Advanced Women's and then there's just a women's health with Dr Perrin, both are awesome but I have to say, I love Dr Perrin!!!!

Dr. Kim Rashada ... she is amazing, she's in deland right by the hospital. She only does gynocology now though.

Hmm. no offense, but Dr. Rashada left me hanging when I was giving birth to my baby (2011). The nurses were there in her stead. Not a good look...

That is who delivered Addison, because Dr. Parker was out of town on an emergency. I LOVED her! She was so supportive and was genuinely sweet, my mom and Jeff loved her too!

Dr Boulting was my Dr but Dr Parker delivered me. If Brantley wouldn't have been born at 34 weeks I would have had Aly but they wouldn't allow a mid-wife bc of how early he was. It's always so more comforting knowing you have someone you trust to deliver your precious baby!
