I'm making today a new start. This winter has really taken a toll on me. I'm back on my B12 for energy and vitamins. Need to lose weight which hasn't been working so...

Eat protein. Eat 6-8 times per day. Keep premium coconut oil on hand (only the liquid form will do). When you start jonesing for sugar or you feel famished take 1 table spoon of oil. The impulse to binge will evaporate in 5 min or less. Fast 2 days in a row out of every 7. Limit caloric intake to less than 600 on fast days. Get your heart rate in to aerobic range for 30-60 minutes the days you fast. Eat a normal diet the other 5 days. Zero out simple carbs (no beer, white bread, mashed potatoes, sugared soda waters, candy). Get and keep handy sun flower seeds, pistachios, almonds, dry roasted peanuts, dried strawberries, cranberries, blue berries, pecans, cashews, etc. Eat a small amount of these when you get the urge to snack. Small but frequent amounts of these every day. Eat an apple for lunch. Eat one to two eggs for breakfast. You will not feel starved. Weight will begin to melt away. I failed at weight loss 7 times. This time it's falling off and it's so easy that I can estimate when I will hit my target range. Losing 2 lbs a week some weeks more some less. Down 25 lbs now. Will be down 30-40 lbs by Easter. Pardon the brevity of this response. PS Adding boiled sea food and greens to the daily non fast diet will increase your rate of weight loss but it is not necessay. Stay in touch

PS The best part is that 1 out of 7 days is a cheat day. Eat whatever you miss the most. Just keep the cheat day 2 days or more away from the fast days. Your body's metabolism peaks during and after fast.
