Does anyone have any local experience/recommendations with hypnotherapy to quit smoking in Denver?

Good luck. I am a former smoker and quit multiple times. Nothing ever worked except sheer will. You have to be done and ready to quit, without looking for a miracle. It is a hard and long road, but one that I had to be ready for at my very core. Again, good luck.

I tried a hypnotist in Denver to smoking like a year ago. In fact other news I'm writing this on my smoke break. It was a very expensive nap.

You can try [AskaHyp](http://www.askahyp.com) he actually has some samples you can download and listen to for less than $5 and see if an in person session would be helpful. Also the [ColoradoQuitLine](https://www.coquitline.org) will send you a months supply of free patches and give you some over the phone support, good luck!

Whatever you choose, best of luck! I gotta send another vote for [just stop it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow0 lr63 y4Mw) tho. That was one of the hardest 3 weeks of my life, but now almost 3 years later I'm so happy.

I've heard mixed things about the efficacy of hypnotherapy. Conceptually it seems like a great option and I just haven't seen many sources indicating it has a lasting impact. Have you tried ecigs? I was a big routine smoker and breaking those was easier with the ecig. The nicotine aspect was hard but replacement then tapering then total cessation worked for me.
